Mother’s Kitchen is happy to announce that we are once again serving the community of the Upper West Side, this time from the kitchen of Trinity Lutheran Church at 164 W. 100th Street. Guests are welcomed to the church’s undercroft (entrance down steps) on the first Saturday of every month at 1:30 p.m., where they can sit and enjoy a hot meal and leave with a bagged lunch. As Laura, one of our volunteers from Manhattan, said, “This is a wonderful gift to the neighborhood for those in great need of a meal. We need more places like this for people to be nourished and to receive. … Mother’s Kitchen is like a seed. A seed to water and watch grow.”
